Overwritten History

by NUM.ATELIER

I created this piece to capture the collision between structured human memory and the untamed chaos of raw emotion. By overlaying aggressive, sweeping gestures of dark ink and heavy charcoal cross-hatching onto an immaculate grid of vintage literary pages, I am actively overwriting the past. The vibrant slashes of orange pastel represent sudden, electric bursts of clarity piercing through monochromatic history. This canvas is an artifact of my own internal dialogue—a visual manifestation of the moments where the words available to us simply fail, leaving only raw expression in their wake.
