Fragile Current

by NUM.ATELIER

I have always been fascinated by the balance between massive graphic power and absolute fragility. I filled this entire canvas with a dense, hypnotic pattern of rolling waves using high-contrast black ink and white contours to create an optical sense of endless, churning motion. Amidst this turbulent graphic sea, I floated four delicate paper origami boats folded from aged text. These tiny vessels represent our fragile human consciousness—the paper-thin boundaries we navigate through a world that is often overwhelmingly loud, beautiful, and chaotic.
